The CLIENT declares receiving, on location, the items detailed on the previously approved delivery note. The CLIENT receives the gear on location on accordance and on perfect functioning state, having checked it previously on the gear check day. The CLIENT is bound to deliver back the gear to Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. on the day specified in the delivery note with the same functioning conditions as it was delivered to the CLIENT.
To proceed with the withdrawal of previously contracted gear, any direct CLIENT or carrier will have to identify themselves with their ID card or passport.
The CLIENT is bound to conserve the rented gear under his/her custody and to make sure the gear is used on a professional way by properly qualified technicians. The CLIENT is bound to protect the gear against weather conditions, having to take any necessary precaution for its preservation and security.
The CLIENT must not sell, borrow, lend, rent, lose or suffering retention by any organism of the rented gear. If the CLIENT tries or suffers any previous actions mentioned which could endanger the rented gear, any existing rent contract can be cancelled without previous notice. The CLIENT must be commited to keep and safekeep the rented gear in good conditions and assumes total responsibility on the value of the gear until it gets delivered back to Zig Zag Rental & support S.L.
As long as it is possible, the gear will always be transported on a van provided by Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L.
In case of any breakage or flaw of the gear which need any kind of substitution once the renting contract has started, the CLIENT is bound to pay for those flaws in order to have access to any substitution gear.
Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. points that as their fees are not proportional to the value of the gear that the CLIENT rents, the CLIENT, before taking care of the gear is bound to contract an insurance which covers the gear’s total value, which will cover any event such as robbery, fire, breakage, loss, etc… from the moment the gear is delivered to the CLIENT until the delivery back to Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. The next items or risks are not covered by Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L.’s insurance: bad usage of the gear (willfully or not), neglect, gear used on shootings considered “risk shootings”, theft, robbery in places without surveillance, bad technical performance of the gear, any loss of information, total or partial loss of the gear, breakages or flaws, confiscation, electrical and electromagnetical damage, flaws caused by extreme temperatures, flaws caused by water, dust or humidity or any other flaw caused by negligence, terrorism actions or warzones. In the previous mentioned events the CLIENT will be responsible of the full substitution or repair of the gear provided by Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. or it’s legal representative that will be invoiced and paid after the event. Any accident covered by Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L.’s insurance will carry an excess of 300 euros to 600 euros depending on the value of the gear.
Payments will be completed always prior to the delivery of the gear, being the payment full (100%) of the import on the contract, paid in cash or by bank transfer. It is necessary for the CLIENT to send to Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. the proof of payment twenty four hours before the job starts. In case the payment is not completed before the events mentioned above, Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. will have the right to cancel the renting contract in order to start new contracts with other clients. In case the CLIENT does not accomplish the payment of the amounts contracted as well as clauses and obligations with penal clauses, Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. will have the right to charge the amounts owed via executive ways and in accordance with the rules established by the Civil and Commercial procedure code.
Any reservation cancelled within a period twenty four hours before the starting of a job will involve an economic compensation of fifty percent of the value of the reservation contracted by the CLIENT, who will be bound to pay the amount to Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L.
If gear is contracted and cancelled or suspended before termination of the job for production causes, weather causes, or any other cause, the CLIENT will be bound to pay 100% of the amount contracted with Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L.
If the gear or part of the gear is not returned in the time limit agreed, the CLIENT will pay the renting value of that gear to Zig Zag Rental & Support S.L. for the delay period until it is returned, extending the validity of the contract until the gear is returned. All the rented gear is ruled by these terms and conditions without exception. It remains understood tacitly that the CLIENT knows and accepts these terms and conditions mentioned above.
